Welcome to our patch of the web. We a are a twenty-something couple living in Edinburgh and enjoying it very much. we started this blog to document our life and share our daily musings and inspirations. 

We like: good coffee, taking pictures, grilled Camembert, the Dominicans, Polish mountains, John Frusciante and Lisa Ekdahl, long walks around Warsaw and Edinburgh, first snow, Kathrine's summer house in Norway, playing the guitar, typography, warm summer nights, good design (Japanese, Swiss and Scandinavian)

We don't like: Comic Sans MS, being asked whether we're a brother and sister, badly laid out essays, roadworks

We dream about: a kitchen with an island, travelling to Japan and New Zealand, living in NYC for a couple of years, our own darkroom, our own library with bookcases all the way up to the ceiling

... is how we enjoy spending our free time. Be it down the Edinburgh New Town, barefoot on the beach, on a city break in Europe or in our home country - Poland.

Jakub and Malgosia (aka Maggie) met during the carefree highschool times in Warsaw and have been together ever since. They moved to Scotland in 2007 to start university. Last summer they were married in Poland and decided to continue living in Edinburgh. Jakub has recently graduated and Malgosia has decided to change her career path and started studying medicine.

They both enjoy everything Edinburgh has to offer - excellent restaurants and cafés, green spaces, impressive architecture, galleries and museums, festivals. Their favorite way of spending free time is by just strolling about and discovering new places.
