One Edinburgh

14 September 2011

Yesterday we went to watch "One Day", a film based on a bestselling bittersweet love story by David Nicholls. The beginning and the end of the film is set in Edinburgh, where two main characters meet as students, so I thought I'd write about it. I haven't read the book yet, but I really liked the film. It made me tear-up, laugh and ponder within the 100 minutes of its duration. You can read a proper review here if you'd like. I'm not going to make this post a spoiler in case you haven't seen it. All I'm going to say is that me and J have different opinions as to how the film should have ended. Have you seen it?  What do you think about the ending?
If you haven't, go see it. I'm buying the book tomorrow.
